I recently was turned onto the Brooklyn-based company, Design Glut, while trying to find a birthday gift for a client who just happens to be a CEO of a publicly traded company. I came across their Dow Jones Hanky and immediately thought to myself, “too soon?” Since I track the company’s stock closely I know it wouldn’t look too bad today but I’m not sure how day to day the hanky gets.
I also really like their Crude Necklace which is made in monthly batches stamped with the price of oil on the day it was produced on the miniature oil barrel itself – the line also includes a ring and bracelet.
